Rose Parade Starts at 11 AM PST;Rose Bowl Game Kickoff at 2 PM

The 2011 Tournament of Roses Parade will begin at 11 am PST. This year’s 122 annual Rose Parade is sponsored by Honda and will take more than 2-1/2 hours to complete. Thousands will line the streets of Pasadena, California to witness the 122nd annual parade first-hand, while millions will watch the flower decorated floats pass by from the comfort of their own living rooms.

The Rose Parade will be broadcast live on ABC, NBC, Hallmark Channel and HGTV. Paula Deen will be the Grand Marshall of the 2011 Rose Parade.

The 97th college football Rose Bowl Game kickoff is at 2 pm PST. This year the Mountain West Conference champion, Texas Christian University (TCU) Horned Frogs, will face off against the Big Ten Conference champion, Wisconsin Badgers.

The Badgers are 11-1 and ranked No. 5 in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) standings. TCU is 12-0 and ranked No. 3 in the BCS.

Game coverage will be by ESPN with the Farmers Insurance Airship Eureka zeppelin providing aerial shots of ESPN’s game telecast.
