Upcoming Apps For Android and Windows Based Tablets
Amazon.com announced that it will be releasing free Kindle ebook applications built for both the Android and Windows based LCD tablets.
Amazon released a free Kindle app designed specifically for the Apple iPad last year. The iPad application is now in Amazon’s top 10 list of most downloaded apps.
Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) has made apps available for many reading platforms including the iPad, iPod touch, iPhone, Mac, PC, BlackBerry and Android based devices.
The free apps allow Amazon.com customers to download and read ebooks purchased from the Kindle bookstore without requiring a Kindle.
