Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Stock Nears Oversold and Support of 50 SMA

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock has had a rough week of trading and is nearing oversold and support of the 50 SMA

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) stock has endured the roughest stretch of trading in over two months this week of trading.  Shares of AAPL are closing in on oversold on stochastic however, and technical traders who use moving averages can see that AAPL is as trading close to the 50 SMA setting up a textbook point for reentry if they wish to enter a new long position.

On balance volume has taken a serious hit this entire week, yet it remains healthy compared to where share price currently rests as bearish momentum is stabilizing and cooling off.  Support rests at November 17th’s low just under the 300 dollar mark at $297.76 per share but overall bias still remains positive at this point in time unless AAPL drops under the 50 SMA.

AAPL has traded above the 50 SMA since September of 2010 and has yet to look back since.  Price action volatility will likely be heightened if it is breached as technical traders will take note.  Currently, AAPL has a market value of $302,683,790,790 at the time of writing, and 917,307,000 shares remain outstanding.
