Crowded Entrance to Pittsburgh's Heinz Field
The New York Jets (13-5) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (13-4) AFC Championship Game will be held today, January 23, 2011 at 6:30 p.m EST.
The championship game will be played this evening at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field in brutally cold temperatures. Temperatures will be around 10 degrees at kickoff, falling to near zero by the end of the game.
A Steelers win over the Jets in today’s AFC Championship Game would advance the Steelers to their eighth Super Bowl.
A victory for the Jets would give the team a chance to play in the Super Bowl and possibly earn a trophy for the team to display alongside the Lombardi Trophy they won back in 1970.
