
Packers vs. Bears Today at Soldier Field
The NFC championship game between NFL rivals Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will be held today, January, 23, 2011, at Chicago’s Soldier Field. Beginning at 3 p.m. EST, the Packers (12-6) and Bears (12-5) will square off against each other for the 182nd time.
This will be the second time the teams have played against each other in a NFC title game, with a chance to play in the Super Bowl on the line.
The Green Bay Packers earned their placement in the NFC title game after Saturday night’s 48-21 win over the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome.
The Chicago Bears were victorious with a 35-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks in last Sunday’s game at Soldier Field. Today’s game will be the second NFC title game the Bears have played in during the course of the past five seasons.
Game coverage will be broadcast by FOX Sports. This is 17th season that FOX Sports has served as a NFL network television partner. Game coverage will be broadcast live to a national audience.
