Xbox Live Marketplace now has BioWare’s Dragon Age 2 demo download available as of today, Feb. 22, 2011.
BioWare announced that if one million downloads of the Dragon Age II demo is reached by March 1, they will release how to unlock 2 free in-game books, The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall and Lothering’s Lament.
Demo downloads for the Sony PS3 and PC are supposed to become available today, but are not yet live.
BioWare and Electronic Arts’ new Dragon Age 2 multi-platform video game will be made available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on March 8, 2011 in North America and three days later on March 11, 2011 in Europe. The game is available for pre-order.
BioWare is a division of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS), a company that develops, markets, and distributes video game software. BioWare, which concentrates on developing role-playing video games, was was acquired by Electronic Arts Inc. in 2008.
Xbox Live Marketplace is a division of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) which produces and distributes the Xbox 360 gaming and entertainment console.
