Allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, have taken a risky dimension, and this time around, an actress Annabella Sciorra, claims she was violently raped. In a followup report on Weinstein by The New Yorker, the actor, who featured in Miramax's The Night We Never Met, says she had to receive therapy after the movie mogul forced sexual intercourse on her and subsequently harassed her on numerous occasions afterwards.
Sciorra said she blamed herself for the attack for months after.
"I was so ashamed", Sciorra, now 57, said, adding that she fell into deep depression and stopped working for several years.
The Italian-American actress said she struggled to speak about Weinstein for more than 20 years, but her friend Rosie Perez encouraged her to come forward. She said that she resisted when the now-disgraced producer raped her and "when he was done, he ejaculated on my leg, and on my nightgown".
A few minutes after saying goodbye, Sciorra heard a knock on her door, and when she unlocked it, Weinstein pushed the door open.
"I think, in a way, that's what made him leave, because it looked like I was having a seizure or something", she said.
Sciorra chose to come public after the recent outpouring of allegations against the former Miramax director.
Hannah said she felt the immediate repercussions of her refusal the next day, even after she told colleagues, including Quentin Tarantino.

"The knocking started again and again". "I called all the powers that be and told them what had happened".
Weinstein left, and Sciorra said she never spoke of the rape and never went to police. "I piled furniture in front of the door, like in the movies". "He just burst in like a raging bull", she said. Weinstein was standing by the elevator waiting for her.
"He came through the living room and into the bedroom". And I know with every fiber of my being that if my male makeup artist was not in that room, things would not have gone well. "I did tell people about it", she said.
Finally, she said, she found work again - and Weinstein found her.
"Are your tits real?" he said, then he asked if he could feel them.
"And then he attempted to perform oral sex on me".
Hannah returned to her room to sleep, but the next morning, she said, the Miramax plane flew off without her; her flight to Cannes and hotel there were canceled, as was the booking for her stylist.
"Mr. Weinstein unequivocally denies any allegations of non-consensual sex", a spokesperson for the director said in response to the allegations.
