Despite not winning a major since 2008, and battling persistent injuries, former No. 1 golfer Tiger Woods said on Monday he plans on returning to competitive golf next month. Woods has been out of action since the Omega Dubai Desert Classic on the European Tour (withdrew after first-round 77 due to back spasms). Woods has previously won the event, which he hosts and is a benefit for his charity, five times.

Tiger Woods is back.

The no-cut event at the Albany Golf Club, running from November 30 to December 3, includes 18 of the world's best golfers.

Tournament-goers are encouraged to stay at the newly opened Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar, where rooms start at $275 night and complimentary shuttles will be provided to the event.
