The 44.8MB update also takes care issue causing Hey Siri commands to stop working for some users. Now, the page has been updated, instructing users to update to iOS 11.1.1. The iOS 11.1.1 software update can be downloaded for free on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app.

The fix for the bug was seen in the recently-released iOS 11.2 beta, according to MacRumors. All of the changes in those updates are now rolled into iOS 11.1.1, which arrived as a small, but very important upgrade to iOS 11.1. You can download the update by going to "settings" in your iPhone or iPad, clicking on "general" and then going to "software update". Later, iOS will reinstall apps that it removed.
