Qassemi finally noted that Iran expects the French government to adopt tangible measures including pressurizing its allies into immediately stopping their war and bloodshed in Yemen in order to establish ceasefire and restore peace and stability to the country.
The comments come in response to French President Emmanuel Macron, who said that there is a need to start negotiations regarding Iran's ballistic missiles.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry has responded to the call of the French President to hold talks on the country's ballistic missile program, firmly rejecting the idea and noting that it is exclusively defensive in nature.
The president proposed revising the Iran nuclear deal of 2015, saying it "must be preserved", but "complemented with two pillars", which would include "a negotiation on the ballistic activity of Iran, with sanctions if necessary, " and a discussion on "restraining Iranian hegemony in the region".
His decision threw the fate of the agreement into the hands of the US Congress that has until mid-December to decide whether to reinstate sanctions.
Obama's successor Trump decertified the deal last month and slapped sanctions on Iran's powerful Revolutionary Guards.
