The new free features and content coming to Middle-earth: Shadow of War will provide players with more challenges, intense battles and the ability to capture those flawless moments. The content is as follows.
Beginning November 21st, the DLC begins following with the release of Endless Siege. The various different modes will be arriving in November and December. For instance, there's an Endless Siege mode, where players will be able to run through the Shadow Wars section of the game for as long as they want, defending their fortresses against besieging armies of orcs and warchiefs. It's described by WB as a mode in which you'll "Crush the rebel Ologs and Uruks in your forces as they seek to undermine the Bright Lord".
Online Fight Pits Challenge another players Orc follower, Overlord vs. Overlord, to a fight to the death in the arena to earn powerful rewards and upgrades.
The final free update of 2017 comes December 12th. It's described as "a new higher difficulty level even more challenging than Nemesis with no last chances". While the idea of adding loot boxes and so much season pass DLC still doesn't sit well with me, Shadow of War is indeed getting some free stuff to offset it.
