Budget Bond vehicle: 2019 Aston Martin Vantage has looks that thrill

Next year's Aston Martin Vantage GTE ready for reveal

All-new Aston Martin Vantage launched

Andy Palmer, Aston Martin chief executive officer, said: "It speaks volumes for the outgoing Vantage that it is the single most successful model in Aston Martin's history". Balance of Performance rules make more specific figures hard to quote. The Vantage is company's most selling model which gets a new design and looks to beat the competitive world of cars.

The new Vantage goes on sale immediately, priced from £120,900, and brings a twin-turbo V8 engine and a new level of technology to the popular Porsche 911 rival, which has proved to be Aston's best-selling model to date.

AMR technical director Dan Sayers said: "We've collaborated closely with Aston Martin's Gaydon headquarters to develop the road and race cars in parallel".

Based on an aluminum spaceframe with bonded steel body panels that is 70-percent new, the Aston Martin Vantage rides on a 106.4-inch wheelbase and measures 175.8 inches in overall length. The interior replicates the bolder look of the exterior with a focus on the driver. As such, the air that gets sent beneath the vehicle with the help of the front splitter is channeled using a multitude of elements and then sent out with the help of the diffuser.

On the outside Aston has gone for an "athletic, predatory stance, while the minimal front and rear overhangs, muscular flanks and broad haunches" - all to visually underline the agility of the vehicle.

We Just Got the First Look at the All-New Aston Martin V8 Vantage

THE stunning, new Aston Martin Vantage has been revealed with a £121,000 price tag.

All of this sounds great, but there's one downside to this performance - the engine comes backed exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Dry weight sits at 1,530kg.

Under the skin of the new model is an electronic rear differential - an Aston Martin first - and with the help of a 50/50 weight distribution, this model is set up to attack corners and be exciting to drive.

An electronic rear differential has been fitted to the Vantage - a first for Aston Martin - to better improve the sports car's dynamic behaviour at both high and low speed. "Like the Ford GT", you might be thinking, but we suspect this is a more evenly split effort between race and road. The new electronic rear differential, dubbed an E-Diff, is created to make the auto feel more composed in straight lines and corners. The Vantage also employs a sophisticated suite of integrated electronic systems to offer maximum control and driver enjoyment. These include dynamic stability control and dynamic torque vectoring.

Now we want to know: How would you configure your 2018 Aston Martin Vantage? The interior has leather and Alcantara upholstery with full leather as an option.
