Police say investigators received information that the killing was committed by MS-13 gang members that included 19-year-old Miguel Angel Lopez-Abrego.
According to police, detectives located the male victim in a grave at Wheaton Regional Park on September 5.
The documents allege that Lopez-Abrego helped dig the grave where the victim was found, and also used a walkie-talkie to alert the other gang members to the victim's arrival.
The victim, whose identity has yet to be confirmed, was stabbed, decapitated, dismembered, and had 'his heart had been excised from his chest and thrown into the grave, ' police say.
In addition, based on the charging documents, the victim was decapitated.
The victim has yet to be conclusively identified. He was missing a bottom tooth, and police believe he was living in the Annapolis area.
