Already rolling out to Xbox Insiders in the Alpha ring, Microsoft has revealed some of the features that will be coming with the next Xbox One system update, including new achievement features, Mini Game Hubs, the ability to set your online status to "Do Not Disturb" and more besides. Plus, it will also prevent your friends from inviting you to another game or activity which is going to be really useful when you are trying to get through all the levels in a hot new game.
There are a few other changes expected to roll out to Xbox One users alongside this, including some new additions to the Guide menu relating to your achievements and the games you're playing.
Mini Game Hubs will soon be available right in the Guide. Will be able to access content for games you've played recently from a Game Hub without ever having to leave the action.
The update will also add a "Do Not Disturb" online status, to let friends know you're now unavailable, while the community feed has also been tweaked to make it easier to view.
New Xbox One update Adds The "Do Not Disturb" Option
We're tweaking the community feed to make it easier to view comments. You'll now be able to choose from one, two, three, four, five or six hours of inactivity for the system to power down. Next up is a do not disturb mode that will "suppress" notifications and tells your friends list you don't want to be bothered, according to a post on Xbox Wire. A fix is being worked on.
Workaround: If the games are installed to an external drive please copy the game to the internal drive or attempt to delete the title and redownload to fix the launch error.
The feature is coming to Xbox Insider members as of now and will be coming to all other users in the near future.
