Dark Souls coming to Nintendo Switch

Dark Souls PS4 Remaster

RUMOUR: Dark Souls 1 Being Remastered For Switch, PC, PS4 And Xbox One (UPDATE)

Apart from that huge news though, From Software announced the existence of a Dark Souls Trilogy Box Set, which will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4. Similar to the PC's Prepare to Die edition, this reinvention also comes with the base game's Artorias of the Abyss DLC in tow.

The Dark Souls trilogy boxset is now set to release in Japan on May 25, 2018 (which is the Dark Souls Remastered release date) and will cost 49,800 Yen (equivalent to $450). Switch owners meanwhile will be able to squeeze out 30 FPS at 1080p when the system is docked. Well, contrary to the Bioshock remasters, Dark Souls Remastered will be a separate product. Dark Souls II was already given the remaster treatment for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 back in 2014, under the subtitle Scholar of the First Sin. Following up this announcement, Bandai Namco has recently revealed a Dark Souls box set that will be coming soon only to PS4.

Kotaku has reported that Dark Souls Remastered will be making its way to the Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well.
