Nokia 8 Android 8.1 Oreo update has started rolling out with several users confirming on social media platforms that they have started receiving notifications about the update.

The newest Oreo update includes features such as battery saving navigation buttons, revamped Power menu, Bluetooth battery percentage, and a new Setting menu, as per the changelog.

The Nokia 8 Android 8.1 Oreo update is over 1.5GB in size, and its package is downloadable only via an active Wi-Fi connection. As per the latest Android distribution chart, only 0.3 per cent of all active Android smartphones have received the update. And in the last week of January, HMD Global rolled out a beta version of the Android 8.1 Oreo to the Nokia 8. Android 8.0 Oreo doesn't look that great as well as it accounts for only 0.8 per cent of all active devices.

HMD is rumored to announce a slew of smartphones and the global variant of its Nokia 3310 4G feature phone at an event on February 25 at the MWC 2018 show floor. It is powered by Snapdragon 630 chipset, backed with 3GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery fuels the device. While at the front, we have an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a 1.12um sensor and f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.

Out of these three, Nokia 6 (2018) has already been launched in China earlier this year with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
