A brawl on an Australian cruise liner has left 30 people injured after members of one family appear to have picked fights with other passengers.
On the second-last day of the 10-day cruise around the South Pacific, horrified passengers watched on as the fight unfolded in the early hours of Friday.
Video footage of the brawl showed security guards involved in the mêlée, although it does not show who instigated the fight. An unnamed passenger filmed the ship's crew and security officers trying to break up the fight and, at one point, kicking two male passengers already on the ground.
Zac claimed the drama between his family and another party began when someone had stepped on a "thong" - the Aussie word for a flip-flop shoe.

The ship is now back on its way to Melbourne and Ms Vandekreeke said that the measures taken by staff on board would allow fellow cruise guests to enjoy the remaining stages of their holiday.
A statement from Carnival supplied to 3AW stated: "Safety is the number one priority for Carnival Cruise Line, we take a zero tolerance approach to excessive behaviour that affects other guests and we have acted accordingly on Carnival Legend".
She also said members of the family were involved in other incidents during the cruise, but declined to elaborate.
"The ship's security team is applying our zero-tolerance policy in the interests of the safety and comfort of other guests", the company said.
"The ship's highly trained security staff have taken strong action in relation to a small group of disruptive guests who have been involved in altercations on board".
