Janney, who won for Best Supporting Actress for her role in I, Tonya, spoke with ET's Cameron Mathison at the Governor's Ball in Los Angeles after the big show, and she admitted that she's keeping her Oscar close. Featuring an iconic turn by Margot Robbie as the fiery Harding, a mustachioed Sebastian Stan as her impetuous ex-husband Jeff Gillooly, a tour-de-force performance from Allison Janney as her acid-tongued mother, LaVona Golden, and an original screenplay by Steven Rogers, Craig Gillespie's I, TONYA is an absurd, irreverent, and piercing portrayal of Harding's life and career in all of its unchecked-and checkered-glory.
The big win is a first for Janney, who was filled with nervous, excited energy when she took the stage to accept the award, but still found the fortitude to deliver one of the funniest jokes of the night.
And apparently Harding herself has been cheering on Janney for the entire awards season. The producers then presented Janney with a bouquet of 90 roses - a nod to Oscar's 90th anniversary (get EW's special edition here) - while the actress passed around her Oscar so everyone could snap a picture with it.

Turkish military intensifies bombardment on Afrin from four sides, rising civilian casualties
The US has no troops in Afrin, but said it fears the Turkish offensive could distract from the fight against IS in the east. Eight Turkish soldiers were killed and another 13 were injured on Thursday in fighting in Afrin.
Ever since the film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and was quickly acquired by NEON/30 WEST, Janney has been considered a near-lock for the Best Supporting Actress. She didn't want to go until she was nominated.
She said: "I have to be at a table read for "Mom" at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning so I'm going right back to work". "She has a child that she loves and she's very sweet and supportive and she sends me texts to say, 'Go get 'em, girl!' and she's pretty great".
"I will never be able to repay him", she said. "She's this quirky, odd woman with so much anger and so much resentment".
Among her other film credits are award-winners The Help, Juno, The Hours and American Beauty.
