Rusty Lord's Forecast - More Snow and Wind Tuesday

Here Comes the Rain & Wind

Winter weather advisory issued

The second half of the workweek to next weekend is so far looking pretty good with mostly sunny skies and temperatures slowly warming up again to the lower to middle 50s. Valleys are not expected to pick up any accumulating snow as temperatures will be in the 40's, however, as the cold front moves through, some areas have the potential to see a thunderstorm develop. Some showers may linger into Tuesday morning. We don't anticipate a lot of accumulation, if any, but that wintry weather could affect your drive into work midweek. Highs will be in the lower 50s. A speedy low pressure system will bring a quick rain chance between Tuesday and Wednesday. This is all due to a passing cold front. Unfortunately, rain chances and a little bit of everything arrive in the mountains later this week. We'll have to watch this next system for severe weather potential, but it's far to early to know for sure or nail down any specifics. This round looks heavier and more widespread through the pre-dawn hours on Tuesday.
