Indianapolis will now pick sixth, the Jets will pick third and the Colts will receive three second round picks.

With the trade now completed, the Jets are free to target one of the top quarterbacks on their draft board, versus taking the passer which lands to them.

Another possible trade twist involves the Bills, who are leapfrogging in the first round, seemingly trying to get as high as possible to get a quarterback.

The Jets trade their No. 6 overall pick in the draft for the Colts' No. overall pick.

This is a smart move by the Colts because they don't need a quarterback (hopefully). The Jets are sending the #6 overall pick, #37 overall, #49 overall and a 2019 2nd round pick.

The Giants also could sit at 2 and take a quarterback, and God forbid if it's the one the Jets were hoping for.

The trade puts the Jets in line to acquire a QB like USC's Sam Darnold or Wyoming's Josh Allen. By trading three second rounders, he gave up three potential starting players - a big haul for a rebuilding team with many holes. Quarterbacks always get pulled up by a run at the top of the draft and this year will be no different. The Jets could opt to go with the quarterback who provides the most star power.
