Bey has pledged $100,000 in scholarship money that will be split in four, and given to one student from each of the following schools: Tuskegee University, Bethune-Cookman University, Xavier University of Louisiana and Wilberforce University.

The more than 100 historically shameful US schools and colleges were based before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 when white-dominated associations of high education and learning could bar African American pupils.

Taking center stage like the royalty she is, Beyoncé slayed the stage at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival Weekend (April 13) in Indio, California.

Beyoncé framed her comeback performance at Coachella as if it were a half-time show at homecoming.

The undisputed Queen of Instagram took to the social media site to discuss her initial reservations about the performance, which included homages to HBCU culture.

The notice says the recalled eggs include varieties sold in Food Lion and Walmart stores, and served at Waffle House restaurants. The affected eggs are from plant number P-1065 and have the Julian date range of 011 through date of 102 printed on the package.

The universities themselves will select the finalists who must maintain a grade point average of 3.5. The universities, which were established to educate black U.S. citizens before the 1964 civil rights act, will award the scholarships to the selected scholars this summer. One victor from each school will be chosen, and he or she will receive their share of US$25,000 for study in the 2018-2019 academic year.

It's undoubtedly a worthy goal to help young black students get ahead by giving back to the community the way the singer has done over the years.

The singer established the program in 2017 to mark the one-year anniversary of her 2016 visual album, "Lemonade".
