When Garcia was carried by law enforcement officers from the aircraft other passengers clapped and cheered.

According to an arrest report, Garcia - who lives in Chicago - was accused by another passenger of touching his girlfriend.

After Garcia was moved to another seat by crew members, he began verbally attacking the couple before flight attendants called on security to escort the misbehaving passenger from the plane.

An American Airlines flight from Miami to Chicago was reportedly delayed on Sunday night, after a man was removed for groping a female passenger, getting into an argument with her boyfriend, and acting "uncooperative" when apprehended by law enforcement officials. Throughout the ordeal, Garcia struggles with the officers despite one's warning "don't fight me", resulting in the use of the taser.

"What is the reason why you are removing me from this plane?" he demands, pulling at the officers trying to put handcuffs on him.

Police charged Garcia with battery, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer, among other charges.

The incident was filmed by an eye-witness as passengers were boarding American Airlines flight 2446 from Miami to Chicago O'Hare.

"American began the process of deplaning the entire aircraft. Get him off!" The man continues to resist even as the officers Tase him. "During that process, a physical altercation between the same two passengers took place", American Airlines said in a statement.

Video shot inside the terminal shows the man still arguing with officers as they load him onto a security golf cart.
