The game also wont be set in the first World War like Battlefield 1, but will instead take players to a new frontline in a new singleplayer campaign.

EA has officially confirmed that the next Battlefield is indeed Battlefield V. On May 23, electronic Arts & DICE will unveil your next all-out war journey. This has lead some fans to speculate that the next Battlefield will try to bite on Call of Duty's zombie game type, alongside rumors that the series will be moving to World War 2. However, some have speculated that it will be another period from the past similar to Battlefield 1. After multiple rumors swirling around the web, we now have the host confirming Battlefield 5's official reveal event.

The post highlights 10 things that you don't want to miss in Battlefield V, including the return of War Stories. In a subsequent tweet on the official Battlefield account, it was confirmed that this is indeed Battlefield V we're talking about, and that the live reveal will begin at 4 PM Eastern on May 23.
