"Just as I promised the American people from this podium 11 months ago, we enacted the biggest tax cuts and reform in American history", President Donald Trump said during his State of the Union address Tuesday night.

"The only Collusion was that done by Democrats who were unable to win an Election despite the spending of far more money!"

The attacks on Mueller, a Republican and former FBI director, were expected to continue as the investigation entered its second year, according to Giuliani.

"We're trying to get [Mueller] to end this", Giuliani said. "We've tortured this president enough", he added, describing the investigation as being "like a big weight" on the president's back. Manafort has pled not guilty. Mainstream outlets have also been commemorating the one-year anniversary of Mueller's appointment as special counsel on May 17, 2017.

Giuliani, who is working for the president pro bono, said Wednesday that the probe "is not good for the American people, and the special counsel's office doesn't seem to have that sort of understanding that they're interfering with things that are much bigger than them".
