The Jim Jordan Matter

Ohio lawmaker accused of ignoring abuse of Ohio State student-athletes

Rep. Jim Jordan denies allegations he ignored sexual abuse of Ohio State wrestlers

President Trump has stood behind Jordan, telling reporters on Air Force One Thursday that he believes the congressman's denials.

Mike DiSabato, another player who spoke with NBC News, got detailed in an interview with CNN: "I never saw Doc Strauss. where he didn't ask me to-where I went to see him for medicine or whatever, finger injury, shoulder, knee-where he did not want to examine my testicles". No question in my mind.

Jordan, a founder of the conservative Freedom Caucus, is one of the most powerful Republicans in Congress and a potential contender for speaker.

Jim Jordan reportedly feels he's being bullied by an alleged victim of sexual abuse at Ohio State University, according to a CNN report, as he continues to deny any knowledge of the alleged abuse. "But nothing -I mean, things they said about me were just flat-out not true". While Dailey said he did not directly report the abuse to Jordan, he said Strauss' abuse was mentioned several times in locker room conversations that Jordan was involved in.

The university announced in April that it had started an investigation into accusations of sexual misconduct against a former team physician, Dr. Richard Strauss, who killed himself in 2005.

The Columbus Dispatch quotes a written statement from Porter Wright Morris & Arthur attorney Kathleen Trafford as saying Jordan was contacted by phone and email but did not respond to the interview requests.

These three men told NBC News that everyone knew Strauss showered regularly with the students and would touch them inappropriately during appointments.

In some cases, the new addition has resulted in the number of simultaneous streams on the Premium plan being halved from 4 to 2. If so, this is also a subtle price hike, considering subscribers will be paying the same price for less features.

The first allegations against Jordan came earlier in the week on Tuesday, after NBC News published a report detailing DiSabato, Yetts, and a third unnamed teammate's claims. I believe Jim Jordan 100 percent.

"Jim Jordan is a world-caliber athlete who is very aggressive in his actions. he's a bulldog, let's be honest", DiSabato said.

Jordan's office claimed on Thursday that he was being "bullied" by one of the wrestlers who had contacted him: 'Rep.

This came as a fourth former Ohio State University wrestler, Shawn Dailey, came forward and said he'd been abused. "And look, if there are people who are abused, then that's awful and we want justice to happen".

"I participated with [Jordan] and the other wrestlers in locker-room talk about Strauss". If not, it's even money as to whether the politicization of the scandal becomes a big problem for Jim Jordan, or creates a right-wing groundswell to make him the next Speaker.

Dr. Strauss's inappropriate touching of athletes was open knowledge, he said, and he remembered talking about it with Mr. Jordan on road trips, in the sauna and after practices.
