"All 13 Wild Boars are in good physical health. all are in good spirits", public health minister Piyasakol Sakolsattayatorn told reporters on Saturday.

They also acknowledged the "vast number" of military and civilian participants who helped in the operation, along with their Australian colleagues.

The 12 boys were only told of the navy SEALs death on Saturday.

The Thai Navy SEALs issued a statement on July 11 thanking the South Australian for his incredible efforts.
