It's odd that a boxed, production model Google Pixel 3 XL has been leaked so far in advance of the expected launch date, which is thought to be 4 October, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility. Android Police was the first to spot the posting. There is a charging brick and cable along with an USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter. The phone will run Android 9 Pie. The status bar is split in two, with notifications from apps on one side and system information on the other.
Update, August 08, 10:51AM ET: More images have been posted alongside an unboxing video that very briefly shows off the Pixel 3 XL in all of its glory as well as the packaging and accessories bundled with the phone. It has a separate Adreno 630 graphics processing unit. The display - no size listed - has a resolution of 1440×2960 (shakes fist at notch) with a pixel density of 494pixels per inch. While most smartphone makers are going for 2 or 3 cameras, the Pixel 3 XL still comes with a single rear shooter. It also adopts a taller aspect ratio in a design that echoes the iPhone X.
Google isn't changing much about the design on the back of the phone. If you've seen the previous pictures showing the "Clearly White" Pixel 3 XL that leaked last week, you'll notice that the new ones come in line with what we knew so far. It does indeed appear to be quite noticeable, especially with a white background.

It looks a lot like the Pixel 2 XL, with the only difference being the notch.
As expected, Google has jumped on Apple's notch bandwagon for its latest phone, allowing it to mostly eliminate the bezel at the top of the screen while retaining a "chin" at the bottom.
