Report: Brazilian Ronaldo In Intensive Care In Ibiza Hospital

The former footballer Ronaldo has reportedly been admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Ibiza, after he came down with pneumonia.

Local newspapers report he's making positive progress.

Here's hoping he pulls through.

He tweeted: "Guys, I had a bad case of influenza here in Ibiza, I was hospitalised on Friday, but everything is under control!"

"Tomorrow I will be allowed to leave the hospital and I will return home".

Staff at Can Misses Hospital said they were unable to give out any information for "data protection reasons". "Thanks for all your support and your messages".

He is believed to have arrived in Ibiza for a summer break a few days ago.
