Apple Releases Invitation for Highly Anticipated 2018 iPhone Event

New iPhone X 2018

TrendForce recently insisted the cheaper iPhone will feature a 6.1-inch screen and 3GB of RAM

Apple's event page is finally up and it only mentions that the venue is at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, Cupertino.

We can also see in the leaked image that the Apple will be introducing a new Gold color for the iPhone X, which we're assuming will be in addition the current Silver and Space Gray. The new iPhone is expected to in fact be three devices: an iPhone X 2018, replacing and upgrading the current iPhone X flagship, launched previous year, but also a larger version.

The new iPhone XS in its 6.5-inch form will be the largest iPhone ever released, and will reportedly come in gold for the first time. The new Apple Watch models will include larger screens that cover almost the entire front of the watch. Apparently, Apple will launch the iPhone XS in two variants. Wednesday, September 12 2018 is the big Apple unveiling date. And it's these two models that look set to be called iPhone XS. What's more, the iPhone X successor will obviously improve in all the usual areas - camera, battery, chipset, etc.

Judging by Apple's past actions, analysts expect the company will begin selling some of the new models by the end of September.

And a mid-range iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD display. Somehow, the folks at 9to5Mac have managed to get their hands on the official renders of the next-generation iPhone and Apple Watch.
